About Karl
I am an ISA Certified Arborist with 18 years of experience working in the San Francisco Bay Area. Previous employers include the California Dept. of Forestry, City of San Mateo and City of Palo Alto. I also do private consultations.
For the last five years I have spent time teaching myself various aspects of computers. I have built quite a few custom computers for myself, family and friends. My operating systems of choice are Linux (Slackware) and OS X.
During the winter months I like to spend time steelhead fishing in Northern California and Oregon.
